Beschrijving
The dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) is often seen as a weed that encroaches unwanted on the lawn. But for those who know the value of this plant, the dandelion means a tremendous wealth of health benefits. The leaves are rich in vitamins and minerals, such as vitamins A, C and K, and act to support digestion and the body's natural detoxification process. A fun fact is that dandelion leaf used to be known as "piss-en-lit" in French because of its diuretic properties.
